Pierre Hypolite Dallidet, a native of France, established the first commercial vineyard in San Luis Obispo County in the 1860s on property located adjacent to his adobe home near San Luis Obispo Creek.
This wine was created to acknowledge his contribution to one of the County's major agricultural products. The present Edna Valley AVA provides the terroir essential for these fine wines.
The Dallidet Adobe & Gardens are owned and operated by the History Center of San Luis Obispo County.
